MY RUIN: New Album Title Revealed, Audio Samples Available

Los Angeles-based hard rock band MY RUIN has set "Throat Full of Heart" as the title of its upcoming album, due this fall via an as-yet-undisclosed label. Co-produced by MY RUIN guitarist Mick Murphy and producer/engineer Duane Burda, "Throat Full of Heart" was recorded at The Hobby Shop in Highland Park, California, which was built and is owned by producers Mudrock and Scott Gilman. The band has posted four new clips and one full-length track on its MySpace page, with the full track listing and label details to be revealed shortly.

MY RUIN is set to film a video for album opener "Ready for Blood" with director Ben Levine who previously directed their video for "Made to Measure" from MY RUIN's 2003 release "The Horror of Beauty" on Century Media Records. "We came up with a kind of true to life concept for the video that documents what we've been through as a band over the past year without going into graphic detail," says Tairrie.

In other news, MY RUIN has posted an interview with Nickie Hobbs of the U.K.'s Devolution magazine which features a very candid conversation with members Murphy, Tairrie B, Chris Lisee and Matt Lechevalier regarding Tairrie's car accident last September which left her seriously injured and the recording of MY RUIN's new album.

MY RUIN has posted three live videos from its March 23, 2007 show at The Galaxy Theatre in Santa Ana, California which includes a live sneak preview of the songs "Ready for Blood" and "Memento Mori" off the band's upcoming album. Watch the footage below.
